3,892 New Coronavirus Cases Reported in Kentucky Saturday Dec. 5

Governor Andy Beshear today announced 3,892 new cases of coronavirus in Kentucky.

Beshear also announced 23 new deaths..
The positivity rate is at 9.80%.

Governor Beshear said the state is headed for another weekly record of coronavirus cases. “With a day still to go, we have set a new one-week record for highest cases in the commonwealth,” Beshear said. “We are all sacrificing so much right now; we are all tired – but let’s do what it takes to crush this third surge of cases and defeat this virus once and for all.”
