American Red Cross & FEMA Assistance Reminders for Tornado/Storm Victims

American Red Cross

Workers with the American Red Cross are continuing to help communities impacted by last month’s tornadoes.

The organization is providing resources to assist in the next steps of recovery.

That includes resources to emergency shelters, mental and physical health services, spiritual care, recovery planning, and food assistance.

Disaster assistance is free, and more information can be found online at “red-cross-dot-org-slash-2021-tornadoes.”
Meanwhile, the last day for storm victims to apply for FEMA assistance is February 11th.

Alana Watson is covering the workplace, economic opportunity and infrastructure issues for the ReSource from partner station WKU Public Radio in Bowling Green, KY.
