Winter Storm Update

Lexington officials are contending with the second bout of winter weather this week. The National Weather Service expects an extra three-to-six inches of snow across Kentucky.

Kentucky’s power co-op association says it could take a few days before power is fully restored to certain communities following Sunday’s winter storms.

The National Weather Service branches in Louisville and Jackson say Kentucky’s largest population centers and the Mountain Parkway Communities were most affected by this week’s winter storm.
