The Eastern Kentucky University football Colonels face another stiff test this weekend at Roy Kidd Stadium. EKU is coming off an exhilarating win a couple of weeks ago against a nationally ranked opponent.
A touchdown pass in the waning seconds of the game secured an upset win over Central Arkansas on October 24th. Saturday, Eastern host another perennially strong FCS team, Stephen F. Austin. The Colonels come into the 3:00 game at two and four while the Lumberjacks are four and three.
Meanwhile, EKU’s men’s basketball team was picked to finish fourth out of 12 teams in this week’s pre-season Ohio Valley Conference rankings. OVC schedules for both the men and women at EKU have just been released. The women open conference play at home against Morehead State on December fifth and the men follow up with the Eagles in McBrayer Arena two days later. Non-conference schedules are still to come.?
