647 Coronavirus Cases Reported in Kentucky Monday Oct. 19

During Monday afternoon’s coronavirus update Governor Andy Beshear announced 647 new cases of coronavirus in Kentucky, bringing the state total to 88,247. The governor noted that this is the highest one-day Monday total in Kentucky since the pandemic began. Monday case counts are typically lower due to some labs being closed on the weekend.

Governor Beshear also announced nine new deaths, bringing that total to 1,326.

The positivity rate in Kentucky is at 4.97% as of Monday afternoon.
