Barr Wins Easily, Says GOP Agenda is Supported in the Sixth by Many

kentucky.com

Sixth District Congressman Andy Barr easily defeated first time candidate Chuck Eddy in yesterday’s GOP Primary.  Now the three term congressman faces former Marine fighter pilot Amy McGrath in the fall.

Barr, a sixth generation Lexingtonian, believes the Republican agenda in Washington is looked upon favorably by many in central Kentucky. “And I don’t think any of our constituents are going to want abandon an agenda that has delivered a booming economy, the most prosperous economy in over two decades,” said Barr.

Barr says Kentucky’s unemployment is the lowest in more than four decades.  The congressman says since he was born and raised in central Kentucky, he shares the values of people living in the district.
