The Republican Party of Kentucky has named Sarah Pickerel as new Executive Director.
RPK made the announcement in a release on Thursday.
Pickerel is a native of Glasgow and has worked with RPK for three years as Finance Director and recently served as the Deputy Executive Director.
She is a 2012 graduate from University of Kentucky and worked in Mitt Romney’s 2012 campaign.
Pickerel fills the vacancy left by Mike Biagi who stepped down in May to join a Louisville-based lobbying group.
