Governor Beshear Reports 790 New Covid-19 Cases Saturday Sept. 5

Governor Beshear announced 790 new Coronavirus cases Saturday, September 5. Kentucky now has 52,46a total cases and a positivity rate of 4.22%.

In a short video address, Beshear asked Kentuckians "to keep gatherings to less than 10 people, wash your hands frequently, social distance and wear a mask.”

Included in Saturday's new cases were 98 children ages 18 and younger. The Governor said the youngest case is three months old.

Beasher also reported six new deaths bringing  Kentucky's total COVID-19 related deaths to 993.
