In a short video update Friday afternoon Governor Andy Beshear announced 778 new coronavirus cases in Kentucky. That brings the state total to at least 30,151.
The governor also announced 4 additional deaths to COVID-19.
Governor Beshear said in Friday's update that for the third day in a row the state's positivity rate has decreased. It is now at 5.43%.
