In the midst of the political conventions and other serious news, we’re running the other direction with this week’s Eastern Standard.

Pokemon Go has been attributed to much fun in the news, but also recently to accidents, a break-in shooting, swarms blocking traffic; all after both young and old are chasing "pocket monsters" with their phones.

Whether you are aware of it or not, Pokémon Go is taking over. We’ll discuss this new gaming fad that has both adults and kids alike chasing “pocket monsters” with their phones.

From the Better Business Bureau:

“In just a few days, Pokémon GO has become the most downloaded phone app in the U.S. The app, which uses mapping software to create a virtual reality game, is getting children and adults out and about in their neighborhoods to “catch” the game characters as they pop up on phone screens from various locations.”
