Creating a Smoke-Free Kentucky on Eastern Standard

In his final State of the Commonwealth address, Governor Steve Beshear called for passage of a statewide workplace smoking ban. Already, cigarettes have already been snuffed out in many businesses, restaurants and campuses across the Bluegrass State and on this week's Eastern Standard, we'll talk smoking bans.

Our guests this week: Angela Criswell, Tobacco Prevention & Cessation Program Manager with the Kentucky Department of Public Health ; Dr. Jack Rutherford, Chair Professor with Exercise & Sport Science and co-chair of the Tobacco-Free Taskforce at Eastern Kentucky University;? Renee Fox, of Healthy You! and co-chair of the Tobacco-Free Taskforce at Eastern Kentucky University; Dr. Robert Pearce, Extension Tobacco Specialist at the University of Kentucky; Amy Barkley, Regional Advocacy Director at Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and advocate of state-wide smoke free legislation.
