Eastern Standard: Video Games in the Classroom

Microsoft has purchased Mojang, the developer of the popular video game Minecraft for $2.5 Billion. On this week's show, we'll discuss the video game industry and the Commonwealth's first academic program dedicated to video game development at Eastern Kentucky University.

Guests:  Dr. George Landon, associate professor in the EKU Department of Computer Science, which offers a bachelor’s degree concentration in interactive multimedia, as well as John Meister and Richie Hoagland, from Lexington-based game development studio, Super Soul.
