88.9 WEKU will be off the air from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, for required tower maintenance. Tower owner Kentucky Education Television is replacing the tower beacon light located at the top of the tower. While crews are climbing the tower, WEKU's transmitter will need to power down completely for worker safety.

WEKU's broadcast stream at weku.org, the WEKU Mobile App, and smart speakers will be unaffected. The WEKU Classical stream will also be unaffected.

You can find more information here on WEKU listening options.

Questions and concerns can be directed to WEKU Director and General Manager Mike Savage at mike.savage@eku.edu.
