Kentucky is under threat for severe weather today

The National Weather Service says strong storms, possible tornadoes, hail, wind, and flooding are possible Sunday afternoon and evening.

The NWS issued a tornado watch and a flood watch for Central and Eastern Kentucky Sunday.

Officials say the greatest risk for severe weather and flooding will be after dark.
