With Holidays Close AAA Bluegrass Helping Travelers With Future Flight Security

Automobile Association of America is offering assistance this week in Lexington for those with future flying plans.  It’s aimed at minimizing contact at airport facilities.

Kentuckians planning to fly over the next five years can sign up for  government screening as part of the Transportation Security Administration’s pre-check program.  Pre-check offers an expedited process at the airport, minimizing contact, and helping reduce health risks.  The partnership between Triple A and the TSA first launched in 2019.

While many consumers are not currently flying,  Triple A of the Blue Grass says the Prec-check benefit will help travelers prepare for future flights.  Once enrolled, Pre-check approved travelers no longer need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outwear, or belts.  The Lexington Pre-check event runs through this Thursday at the Triple A Hamburg office.?
