Some Schools Cancel Classes Due to Bitter Cold

wbko.com

The bitterly cold temperatures have led several school districts in Kentucky to cancel classes.

Media reported several districts in central and eastern Kentucky were closed Thursday or running on a delayed scheduled.

At least one district made a last minute decision to cancel classes because it couldn't keep buses running in the cold weather.

Temperatures around the state hovered near 0 on Thursday morning. The forecast calls for highs to reach around 20 degrees in much of the state.
