The state auditor’s office is conducting a special examination of how disaster relief funds were administered by the state’s Public Protection Cabinet.This comes during the middle of a gubernatorial race between the Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear and Republican Attorney General Daniel Cameron.

That includes $538,125 dollars in flood recovery money.
