WEKU Celebrates 50 Years of NPR

As NPR celebrates its 50th anniversary today, WEKU is proud to have been one of 90 original charter stations that created the NPR network.

The membership plaque featured here was provided to WEKU by NPR in the 1970s and continues to be displayed at WEKU to this day.

In his current role as WEKU Director & General Manager, Mike directs station operations, programming, news and fundraising.
