The Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball team plays its first home game in 18 days tonight in McBrayer Arena. The Colonels will welcome the top ranked team in the OVC.
It will be the second time on the court for EKU and Belmont this season. The first encounter two weeks ago was a tough one for Eastern as the Bruins easily won 92-74. Belmont, a perennial contender for the conference title, stands at 24 and one, it’s only loss to Samford in early December. Eastern stands at 19-6 and 13-5 in the OVC.
The Colonels are coming off a split in back to back games with Southeast Missouri State. EKU lost 94-72 last Saturday and then came back two days later to win 87-65. Tipoff tonight in Richmond is set for 8:00.
