The Eastern Kentucky University Colonels hung close to the University of Tennessee Volunteers early, but wound up losing 95-67 in Knoxville last night. Sixth ranked UT led by 21 at the halftime break and never saw its lead go under double digits during the second half.
EKU, which is now three and four on the season, remains on the road this weekend to take on High Point, Saturday at one o clock.
The Eastern Kentucky University women’s basketball team lost to Western Michigan 64-53 last night in Kalamazoo Michigan. EKU, who is 0 and 6, concludes a stretch of six straight away games by playing Akron at two o clock Saturday afternoon.
