Governance Meetings
WEKU fully complies with the Public Broadcasting Act of 1934, which requires meetings of its governing board to be open to the public.

WEKU is owned and operated by Eastern Kentucky University. As a university department, we are governed by the Eastern Kentucky University Board of Regents.

The majority of WEKU's funding comes from individual listener contributions. Financial support also comes from corporate sponsors, Eastern Kentucky University, foundations, and other miscellaneous sources.

Make a Monthly Contribution to WEKU
Monthly contributions via credit card or checking account are the easiest way to ensure a steady revenue stream for WEKU.

Qualified IRA Charitable Gifts
If you are 70½ or older you can lower your income and taxes from IRA withdrawals by designating WEKU as a recipient for your Required Minimum Designation (RMD).

Donating Stock and Other Securities
You can avoid capital gains tax and receive a charitable income tax deduction by making a gift of appreciated securities, including stocks or bonds to WEKU.

Donate your car to WEKU and receive a tax-deduction
