Former Vice President Joe Biden is coming to central Kentucky to express his support for 6th district Congressional candidate Amy McGrath. Biden will participate in a political cookout at Bath County High School.
The fish fry and campaign rally is scheduled for Friday afternoon. Biden is regarded as a possible Democratic candidate for president in 2020.
First-time candidate, Democrat Amy McGrath is challenging Republican Andy Barr for a seat in the 19-county central Kentucky district. The congressional contest between McGrath, a retired Marine fighter pilot and Barr, who is seeking his fourth term in Washington, has attracted national attention.
