Jaron Cohen

Jaron Cohen joined WEKU as Production Coordinator and fill-in host in September of 2025. His road to WEKU began in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in Communications/Media Production from Florida State University. 

Since that time, Jaron has served as Production Director and On-Air Announcer for commercial radio stations in Central Florida, South Louisiana, and Central Kentucky. He also spent a year as a sound designer for Spotify Los Angeles' true crime podcasts.

Jaron is excited for the opportunity to work in public radio at WEKU and serve the communities of Northern, Central, and Eastern Kentucky.
