Arts Weekly: KET to air Documentary on Ky Agriculture

A new documentary on Kentucky farming will debut on the state’s public TV stations next weekend.  Coming to Ground is a 90 minute production of a Kentucky-based media production and education organization called Media Working Group.

The film explores changes in agriculture 10 years after the end of the state’s dependency on the tobacco industry.  John Hingsbergen spoke with producers Fred Johnson and Jean Donohue about their documentary and the process of creating it.

The documentary Coming to Ground will premiere on Kentucky Educational Television on Earth Day, Sunday April 22nd at 9:00 pm.
