EKU President: Free Student Textbooks And Employee Bonuses Are 'Investments'

On Today's Interview, Mike Savage talks to EKU President David McFaddin about a new initiative that will provide free textbooks to EKU students starting this Fall; Regents' decision to aware EKU Full Time employees $1,000 extra holiday payments and what future higher education funding could look like when  lawmakers meet during the General Assembly session in January.

Mike Savage joined WEKU in 2018 as Director & General Manager. He has worked in public radio for 30 years and has managed public radio stations in Georgia, Illinois and Indiana. In his current role as WEKU Director & General Manager, Mike directs station operations, programming, news and fundraising.
