Small Groups Of Students Return To Fayette County Schools

Lexington’s public elementary, middle, and high schools opened their doors Monday to small groups of students.  This week marked the start of what’s called “targeted” instruction in the state’s second largest school district.

Each school worked with teachers and families to determine which students to invite to campus for additional instruction, based on the needs of the individual populations they serve.

A few Fayette County public schools had already been seeing small groups of students.  About 40 schools will offer targeted services this week to some 1700 students in the Lexington area.?
