1,986 New Coronavirus Cases Reported in Kentucky Saturday Oct. 31

Saturday Governor Andy Beshear announced 1,986 new cases of coronavirus in Kentucky.  The new cases today were the second highest total for a single day.  Beshear also announced 9 new deaths related to the virus. The positivity rate was reported at 6.10%.

Beshear pleaded with Kentuckians to help get the virus spread under control.  “This is now the single largest week of new COVID-19 cases by almost a thousand and we still have one day to go. We need your help,” said Beshear.
