1,462 New Coronavirus Cases Reported in Kentucky Sunday Oct. 25

Governor Andy Beshear reported 1,462 new coronavirus cases in Kentucky Sunday. Beshear said this is the highest number of cases ever reported for a Sunday.  Beshear also said the state saw a record number of new coronavirus cases this week. "We must do better,” Beshear said. “We all know the steps we need to take to stop the spread of this virus – wear a facial covering, wash your hands, stay six feet apart and limit gatherings and travel – let’s all do these simple things to protect each other.”

Three deaths attributed to the virus were also reported.  That brings the state's coronavirus death toll to 1,407.
