King Solomon No. 8 Masonic Lodge will host a community fundraiser at the Leestown Road Kroger location in Lexington, Kentucky on Thursday, September 12 and Friday, September 13, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. Proceeds will support the lodge’s youth program, Knights of Pythagoras (KOP).KOP’s primary goal is to help keep young boys off the streets by providing more than just slogans about motivation. Amann Sowell was an avid photographer who passed in 2024. This exhibit is a photography and (Mother) Nature inspired exhibit that will feature photography by Amann, the Amann Sowell Photography Contest participants (at the Berea Urban Farm), and Gallery on Main photographers.
At the reception there will be food provided by the Gallery on Main Board, drinks, and also live music. Come to check out the Nature inspired photography, purchase artwork (or prints), and to support the local arts!

We will end with a tree planting so you can get your hands dirty and put into practice some of what we talked about. You may take a tree home to plant so you can experience the lifelong benefits trees provide to you, the community and the world.
