Opening Night for LexPhil’s 2024/25 Season is a Titan of orchestral forces on Saturday, October 5 at the Singletary Center for the Arts. The program begins with the sweet and playful D’un matin de printemps (Of A Spring Morning) by Lili Boulanger, before turning towards Florence Price’s introspective composition The Oak. Finally, over eighty musicians span the stage for Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, appropriately nicknamed “Titan”.
