In celebration of International Women's Month, the artists in this group show are all Fayette County Public Schools students who identify as female and are of international origin.
Through a variety of 2D and 3D media, each surprising piece provides a unique glimpse into these young women’s complex and deeply-felt lives.
Located at the corner of Mill & Maxwell Streets in downtown Lexington, Mill & Max Gallery has FREE PARKING and is only a 2-block walk to the heart of downtown and many other galleries.

Community members are invited to a free screening of the documentary Microplastic Madness, an optimistic take on the plastic pollution crisis as told through the eyes of a group of school children. Common Threads LEX, a new sustainability-focused partnership between the City of Lexington, the University of Kentucky and Fayette County Public Schools, is hosting the screening. This is Common Threads LEX’s inaugural event.
