Calling everyone to the concert hall—it’s time for a LexPhil homecoming!

Opening Night: New World on Friday, September 18, ushers in the 2026–2027 season beginning with Clarice Assad’s Baião 'n Blues. Then, Lexington-native Ania Lewis returns to the Bluegrass for Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto. Finally, the evening closes with Antonín Dvořák’s inspiring Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”.

Whether near or far, join LexPhil as we usher in our 65th anniversary with a night of celebration and connection, together.

Summer Singers is a mixed choir singing for its 39th summer. Singers must be at least high school aged. There is no audition. The 2026 program will celebrate the variety of musical styles of choral music in this nation, from the Revolutionary period to the present.

Bring a blanket, picnic basket and your friends and join us outdoors Under The Harvest Moon for an evening of live music and extraordinary dance performances from many exquisite regional Bellydance companies, Shuling Fister Studios, March Madness Marching Band, Haiti Creafo Dance Company, SuperKate , Rakadu Dance Theatre, Anaya Belly Dance, Troupe Dagaz and the unforgettable Mardi Love!
