Lexington Ranked Top "Value City"

Lexington may be Men's Health magazine's most sedentary city, but it's also the sixth best "value" city. That's according to Kiplinger magazine. In the newly published list, the business and finance magazine ranks Lexington number six in what it calls its ten best value cities. The article cites Lexington's resilience during the recession, the University of Kentucky's hospital expansion, and fertile ground for start-ups as signs that Lexington is moving in the right direction. Kiplinger also highlights Lexington's affordability and educated population.

Other cities making the top ten include Nashville, Knoxville, and Cincinnati. Omaha, Nebraska took first place.
