The Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs hosts its first-ever Student Business Showcase today, at the Kentucky State Capitol Annex in Frankfort.
The event will introduce state legislators to student-founded businesses created and operated by alumni of GSE programs, including Summer Startup and Collegiate Pitch.
During the showcase, more than a dozen businesses launched by alumni from across the commonwealth will display products, discuss their ventures, and share how their experiences in GSE programs helped kickstart their entrepreneurial journeys.
The event offers lawmakers the opportunity to meet the next generation of Kentucky business leaders and learn how student entrepreneurship is contributing to innovation and economic development throughout the state.
The Student Business Showcase highlights ventures developed by high school and collegiate entrepreneurs who have participated in GSE’s tuition-free programs. These are designed to equip emerging innovators with the skills, mentorship, and confidence needed to build and grow businesses in Kentucky.
