Winchester pediatrician named President of Kentucky Medical Association

Winchester pediatrician Michael Kuduk was appointed as President of the Kentucky Medical Association during its annual meeting last weekend. He’ll serve in the position through 2024.

Kuduk works as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital in Lexington. He has previously been the association’s Vice President and Board Chair.

The Kentucky Medical Association is a professional organization for physicians. Its goals include educating the public and affecting state policy. It serves nearly 7,000 physicians, residents and medical students.

Shepherd joined WEKU in June 2023 as a staff reporter. He most recently worked for West Virginia Public Broadcasting as General Assignment Reporter. In that role, he collected interviews and captured photos in the northern region of West Virginia. Shepherd holds a master’s degree in Digital Marketing Communication and a bachelor’s in music from West Virginia University.
