When gates open at the Kentucky State Fair Thursday, some fair-goers will head straight to the Health Horizons Pavilion in South Wing B for a chance to have fun and improve their health. That’s where, in return for being vaccinated, the Kentucky Association of Health Plans will hand out unlimited ride wrist bands. Vaccines include MMR, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, flu and others – and in return for a brief pause in the fun participants can also spin a wheel for a chance to win other prizes. The association notes wristband supplies are limited.
