President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are coming to Kentucky today. They will be joining Governor Beshear and his wife in the flood-stricken areas of eastern Kentucky. Stan Ingold has more about the presidential visit.

This will be one of President Biden’s first outings since testing negative for COVID-19. He and the First Lady will be in eastern Kentucky with Governor Beshear and his wife. They will visit families impacted by the deadly floods and surveying the damage and cleanup efforts.

They will also be touring one of the FEMA recovery centers in the area.

The President’s visit comes during an expected break in the weather. More rain is expected starting this evening for the region and carrying on into Thursday. Forecasters say this could lead to additional flash flooding.
