Residents of eastern Kentucky are hoping for relief and recovery efforts to soon begin after floods devastated the area. The town of Whitesburg was hit hard by the flood. In an interview Thursday, Stan Ingold spoke with 18-year-old Zachary Caudill about his efforts to help out his friends and neighbors.

Stan Ingold is WEKU's News Director. He has worked in public broadcasting for 18 years, starting at Morehead State Public Radio before spending the past 10 years at Alabama Public Radio. Stan has been honored with numerous journalism awards for his public radio reporting.
