NPR White House Correspondent and PBS Newshour contributor Tamara Keith stopped by the WKMS studios ahead of her presentation in Murray Thursday evening. Hear her conversation with Tracy Ross on Sounds Good.

Tamara Keith on Sounds Good

Tamara Keith talks about what she'd be doing if she were at the White House, how producing the NPR Politics Podcast is different then delivering news on Morning Edition. They discuss her upbringing in Hanford, California and how she got into radio - including essays to NPR she penned at the age of 15. She talks about her series "The Road Back to Work," tracking people after the 'great recession' and what it's like to report on the White House. They also discuss balancing work and home life and some of her favorite music.

More about tonight's (free) event in Wrather Auditorium at 7:30.
