Richmond is one of the newest cities to join America’s pickleball craze. City officials and community athletes held a ribbon cutting for six new courts Tuesday afternoon.

Recycling bins are being placed at the courts at Kirklevington Park as a pilot program for players to dispose of their old or damaged pickleballs.
