National Labor Relations Board

Both student workers and administration at Berea College are still waiting for a decision from the National Labor Relations Board on whether students can hold a vote to organize a labor union.

The Board hearing was originally scheduled for March 27 before two postponements pushed it to May.

The hearing, which would have collected testimony before a potential union vote, was originally scheduled for March 27. The first postponement would have delayed the hearing to this Wednesday. It’s now scheduled for May 14.
