The district says pickup and dropoff times have been delayed for around a half hour. Schools have been communicating with families and keeping cafeteria breakfast open longer in the meantime.

This year’s back-to-school spending could reach an all-time high. A prediction from the National Retail Federation says nationwide spending could reach more than $41 billion dollars.
