Richmond Mayor Jim Barnes Announces WEKU Public Radio Week

The City of Richmond, Mayor Jim Barnes, and Richmond City Commission issued the Proclamation of WEKU Public Radio Week, October 7 - 13. 

On October 7, 1968, WEKU was founded. Celebrating 50 years of service and dedication to Central and Eastern Kentucky, WEKU staff are proud to accept this honor from the Richmond community.

WEKU strives for excellence in servicing our broadcast area with news and information. With fifty years behind us, we look forward to many more successful years ahead.
