The Eastern Kentucky University Colonels are in Nashville for a two- game OVC series. It begins Thursday night with a major challenge on the court.
It’s the stretch drive in the Ohio Valley Conference race, the last one for EKU as the Richmond school moves to the ASUN. Eastern goes up against Belmont, 20 and one on the season and undefeated in league play. The Bruins have won ten straight contests against the Colonels.
EKU comes into the 9:00 game off a four-point win earlier this week against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Just prior Eastern had dropped two in a row to Austin Peay and Murray.
Coach A.W. Hamilton’s team will remain in Nashville to take on Tennessee State Saturday.
