Second Trip To West Virginia For EKU; Second Blowout Loss

The Eastern Kentucky University Colonels spent a second consecutive Saturday in West Virginia.  And, for the second straight week suffered a big loss.

Much in the same way as a week ago in Huntington at Marshall, this time it was West Virginia who jumped out to an early lead.  EKU was down 21 to nothing when the Colonels scored their first touchdown in this unusual fall season.

Milan Puskar Stadium seats 60,000 but most of the fan noise came from speakers pumped onto the field and not people.  The Mountaineers took control early and went on to win 56 to ten.

Eastern is idle next weekend, and travels to Charleston South Carolina the following week to take on The Citadel.  That kickoff is scheduled for one o clock.?
