Eastern Kentucky University sophomore guard Jamaru Brown has put his name in as an early entrant into this summer’s NBA draft. That doesn’t necessarily mean the North Carolina native is headed for the pro’s this year.
Under the NCAA rules, Brown can sign with a certified agent, receive feedback, and still have the ability to return to Eastern for his junior year if he chooses.
The NBA Draft Combine is tentatively scheduled May 21-24 in Chicago. However, due to the spread of the coronavirus, the combine could be postponed. All early entrants have until 5:00 June 15th to choose to official stay or withdraw from the draft pool.
Jamaru Brown ranked 12th among all sophomores in the country in scoring this season at 18.4 points a game. Brown scored his 1000th point in the regular season finale win over Morehead.?
