This weekend is not a typical homecoming at Eastern Kentucky University. It’s not every fall the 2nd ranked team nationally provides the homecoming opposition.
Eastern Kentucky University welcomes its alumni back to the Richmond campus as the Colonels take on Jacksonville State on the football field. EKU has won nine straight homecoming games, but tomorrow’s opponent stands out.
JSU got to the Football Championship Subdivision title game last year and is currently five and one, sitting number two in the country. The Colonels come into the 3:00 kickoff at two and four.
Other homecoming activities this weekend include a kickball match, fire safety alumni banquet, a step show, parade, and 5k race.
