Catherine Zamarron

Digital Marketing Coordinator

Catherine is a Kentucky transplant who was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Lexington a little over 15 years ago. Both places hold a special place in her heart and they both feel like home!

She received her undergraduate degree from EKU and is currently a graduate student in their Public Administration program with a focus on community development.

Catherine comes to WEKU after spending the last five years working in community social service, with programs like AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps VISTA and nonprofits like The Nest Center for Women, Children, and Families and Ampersand Sexual Violence Resource Center. She is passionate about building equitable and sustainable communities and is excited to join the team at 88.9!
