Iranians head to Turkey to escape heavy toll of war

Ordinary Iranian are paying a heavy toll for the ongoing war. Some heading across the border to the city of Van, Turkey, are looking for a brief escape, others for a way out for good.

NPR’s Hadeel Al-Shalchi reports.
