Iran threatens retaliation after U.S. strikes

Iran is threatening to retaliate after the U.S. conducted strikes in the southern part of the country that the U.S. Central Command described as “self-defense.” The strikes come during negotiations over a deal aimed at re-opening the Strait of Hormuz.
